Cougar Ranch

My dad took us out to his ranch, way, way outside of St. Johns, almost to New Mexico! It was so remote and completely awesome! We went on a hike and of course I forgot my camera, but we found petroglyphs from the Anasazi Indians who used to live there! They were way up on the side of some high cliffs! There was an old burial ground and lots of pieces of pottery all over the place. It was like a treasure hunt/hike! One nearby rancher had found some intact clay pots there that date back to 700A.D.!
